Environmental SustainabilityVitraPanel® is a pre-finished panel based on high density (compressed) fibre cement. VitraGroup processes and coats the cement sheets with its proprietary coating systems. The coating process is performed in a totally sealed automated environment with a 100% recovery system. After bonding, the components of our coating systems create a totally stable and inert surface, which is environmentally safe. The base panel is known as being a low-embodied energy product. Due to the longevity of our panels (50 or 60 years) there is no repainting during this time required.
